Garlic Beef Kebabs
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 small onion, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, finely grated
1 tsp cumin, ground
1/2 cup parsley, fresh, roughly chopped
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Grate onion and mince garlic.
Heat the grill to medium-high heat, and carefully grease with oil.
Combine ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, parsley, and salt in a large bowl. Season with pepper and mix until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Between palms of hands, form each portion into a 3-by-1-inch oval patty. Insert an 8-inch skewer lengthwise into each patty.
Grill, occasionally turning, until meat is browned and cooked through 6 to 8 minutes.
